We are seeking to a new Voluntary Treasurer / Bookkeeper or Finance Trustee
The Hearth Arts Centre is seeking support for its financial management as our long‑standing Treasurer prepares to step down after many years of valued voluntary service. We are a small, friendly Board of Trustees and are open to appointing either:
-
A combined Volunteer Treasurer/Bookkeeper who also serves as Trustee responsible for Finance, OR
-
A Volunteer Treasurer/Bookkeeper plus a separate Trustee (Finance)
Our priority is to recruit someone who can take on the Treasurer/Bookkeeper responsibilities. The Trustee (Finance) role may also be filled by this same person or can be undertaken by a separate / second post holder.
About the Hearth Arts Centre
The Hearth Arts Centre is a registered charity at the heart of Horsley, Northumberland — a place where creativity, café hospitality, community, and culture converge. Our centre brings people together through a unique blend of artistic practice, social connection, and welcoming spaces.
The site includes eight working artist studios, a popular community café, and two versatile event spaces used for workshops, classes, performances, and community gatherings.
We are dedicated to enriching lives and fostering creativity, helping people connect through shared experiences. Whether someone is visiting to enjoy art, take part in an activity, meet friends in the café, or simply soak up the atmosphere, The Hearth offers a warm, inclusive environment where creativity and community thrive.
Trustee positions at The Hearth are voluntary and unpaid, in keeping with our charitable purpose.
Could you help keep this vibrant community running smoothly as our new Treasure/Bookkeeper or Finance Trustee?
