David Holliday
Watercolour Painter
David is a Watercolour Artist, and has been working on a series of new paintings featuring the Swing Bridge, Tyne Bridge and the Quayside. David has continued his experimentation using a limited palette – “This technique helps me to focus the viewer's attention on parts of the scene that I am most interested in, for example the Swing Bridge.”
Jill Stewart
Jewellery & Clocks
Jill will be showing her colourful metal clocks and jewellery, all using her signature mixed metal style. She etches brass, copper and silver to add pattern and texture, contrasting with blue titanium details. On the clocks there will be birds, bees, fish, cats and sheep! There may be some mixed media works using botanical shapes, inspired by the garden.
Rebecca Vincent
Printmaker
Rebecca shows her latest landscape and seascape monotypes, printed in layers of translucent ink. With swirling skies and shifting colours, they have a sense of light and atmosphere. She also has new collage paintings on wood panel of gardens, flowers and animals. In her studio, at the back of the hall, you’ll find a range of greetings cards and prints.
Melanie Hopwood
Ceramics
Melanie creates ceramic sculpture and jewellery from her studio at The Hearth. She has always been fascinated by how weather, time and nature mark, change and shape land and coast and this is echoed in her craggy, rugged artworks. New for this year, Melanie is introducing her ‘Shibui’ range of understatedly elegant porcelain jewellery.
Cathy Duncan
Printmaker
Visit Cathy in her Attic Studio to view her distinctive, handmade Linocut prints. Her work is derived from her love and talent for observational drawing and design. She is happy to explain the process of this relief printing method used in the production of her work. Her strong, striking images are inspired by the trees and landscape of the North East.
Jessica Kinnersley
Textiles
Working predominantly with found and repurposed linens, papers and objects, Jessica layers textures, stitched musings and printed images to create nostalgic, slow-stitched textile art. Visit Jessica in her Paddock studio to browse her textile art kits, find out more about forthcoming workshops and shop for cards and unique, hand stitched gifts.
Jina Gelder
Painter
Jina loves capturing the expressions and characters of British wildlife using ink and watercolours. Jina also works on bespoke commissions or pet portraits and her attic studio is filled with lots of homeware and gifts featuring her animal illustrations. You can chat to Jina about her upcoming workshops where you can learn how to paint your own birds and beasts.
Mandy Pattullo
Textiles
Mandy is a textile artist, educator and author. She brings together precious fragments to form evocative compositions. Predominantly using very old fabrics, such as fragments of north country quilts and antique French linen, her pieces are entirely hand stitched and the viewer is forced to re-examine something flawed through wear and tear, to find a new beauty.

The Cafe serves teas, freshly ground coffee, homemade cakes & scones, light lunches, and the popular all-day breakfast. Vegetarian, vegan & gluten free, licensed: craft beer & wine.

Handmade Toys
BearTonBorough handcrafts traditional mohair teddy bears, camels, bunny rabbits and elephants. Each bear is a one-of-a-kind creation with their own character and personality. They are made using traditional cotter-pin joints, mohair and glass eyes. Some extra special bears are made with maps on their feet and you can even commission your own with a map that means something to you.

Jennifer from Trouvaille Stitch Kits is a Northeast based cross stitch creative, designing modern, cross stitch patterns and kits which feature some of our most loved Northern landmarks. Her colourful cross stitch kits and cute stitchy accessories provide the perfect opportunity for mindful, meaningful crafting for beginner and experienced cross stitchers alike.

Diane makes a range of contemporary sterling silver and contrasting metal jewellery based around geometric shapes, movement and art deco style.
Diane also makes a range of jewellery using sea glass found on the beaches of the North East coast. Using recycled materials where possible, Diane’s work is handmade in Northumberland.

Potter and ceramics teacher working in Alston, making tableware and home goods. My work references the natural world and incorporates local clay and glaze materials from the moor. I make lively, warm pots that are comforting to use in your daily life.

Handmade soaps are Ceri’s speciality and has a core range of beautiful, natural and sustainable soaps and bathing products which tread lightly on the planet and are incredibly kind to your skin. Using natural ingredients and many home grown botanicals, local honey and beeswax, organic goat’s milk and clays, the range is continually developing.
Trevor Craggs
Landscape Artist
After a 20 year career as a graphic designer, Trevor returned to University gaining a BA hons in Fine Art. During this time his interest in semi abstract painting and sculpture began to blossom and he found a new driving force in this tactile and expressive environment. His paintings are mainly in oil.

Willa Story launched her business, Unique In Glass in 2001. Her stained glass, mosaic artwork and exclusive glass gifts incorporate several techniques to produce vibrant, bold and unique pieces.
Willa's studio and showroom are based near Bardon Mill. Commissions welcome.

We offer a wide range of fused glass art and ceramics for the home and garden. All of our work is inspired by local scenery; from rugged coastlines to the rolling moorlands. Each piece is individually handmade and fired in a kiln. We have a studio in Felton and hold regular workshops there.

Tori Lo Designs offers a collection of vibrant handcrafted leather accessories that incorporate traditional techniques, classic styles, and a touch of artistic flair. The brand predominantly works with vegetable-tanned leather, creating a range of accessories for both men and women, including jewellery, purses, belts and bags.
Hannah Forsyth
Printmaker
Hannah is inspired by the Northumberland coastline, the vast skies and seas. Monotype printing provides much freedom, light & movement. “I love the way I can take ink on and off the plate, mark make using any and all materials, and use a roller like a paint brush.“

Maker & Illustrator
Katherine is a maker and illustrator, and passionate about bringing the joys of nature and the great outdoors, indoors. Her makes range from wire flower ornaments to mixed media art pieces as well as a selection of illustrated homewares and cards.
