LOOKING FOR A VENUE TO HIRE? The Hearth Hall and Hub provide an inspiring setting for workshops, classes, private events, performances, and live music. Contact office@thehearth.co.uk for enquires.

Situated in the picturesque Tyne Valley, we are located in the heart of Horsley and is located 11 miles from Newcastle upon Tyne, 12 miles from Hexham and close to Hadrian's Wall.​​

THE HEARTH HALL

THE HALL is the larger space that can be transformed to suit your needs. Whether you're looking to host workshops, classes, community groups, music events, gigs, performances or film screenings, the Hearth Hall can accommodate your vision. Equipped with essential AV equipment and a projector, we provide the perfect space for you to bring your ideas to life.

THE HEARTH HUB

NESTLED IN the serene space of the garden, the Hub is a charming custom-built structure that sits on the site of the Hearth. It is ideal for intimate parties, small meetings, and workshops. During the warmer months, the Hub's large glass double doors open out to a gravelled outdoor area, providing an even more spacious atmosphere.  Accessible ramp to be fitted very soon!

We encourage those wishing to hire spaces to make bookings directly using the online Hallmaster Bookings Calendar and have provided a User Guide to help. If you need additional support, feel free to contact Lindsey Joy, details above.


We do ask all hirers to agree to a set of Conditions of Hire, so that our facilities can be safely and fully enjoyed. If the Conditions of Hire are not accepted, the Bookings Administrator will not be able to confirm the booking. However, in case of any oversight, we will contact you using the details provided.



ACCESSIBILITY FEATURES

Include ground-floor level access to toilet facilities, the Hall and Cafe. There is free parking in the Hearth car park with two accessible parking spaces adjacent to the Hub. For more information on access visit the Hearth Hub and Hearth Hall pages.



CATERING & BAR

Once here we have the wonderful Hearth Cafe serving freshly ground coffee, and homemade cakes, scones, light lunches and a popular all day breakfast, just perfect to keep you going throughout the day. We have an alcohol license, ideal for events and celebrations.


Catering for your events can be provided by the Hearth Café by prior arrangement and if attendees wish to visit the Cafe whilst attending your event we advise they book a table in advance to avoid disappointment on the day.  Please contact Alanna Nash or Kevin Farren directly.

MARKETING YOUR EVENT

MAKETING ON THE HEARTH WEBSITE IS FREE. Please enquire if you wish to promote via our newsletter or social media post.  If wishing to market your event on our Whats On page https://www.thehearth.co.uk/whatson you will be required to complete the online Website Information Form, which will be sent in the confirmation email, which confirms that your booking has been accepted. If not received please email Lindsey Joy, Arts Centre Administrator office@thehearth.co.uk and request a Website Information Form so that your event can be promoted on our popular Whats On Page.



FUNDS RECEIVED FROM HIRE

The Hearth Charity is non-profit making and money received is used to help with running costs and the development of our charitable aims and community activities.
