IF YOU LOVE US MORE TODAY THAN YESTERDAY
a place that supports arts, heritage & culture
Volunteers are a vital part of our team.........
If you have a passion to make a difference or have a little time to dedicate to the Hearth, a truly unique local charity, why not consider becoming a volunteer. We aim to make sure that opportunities inspire and benefit those taking part, as much as providing benefit to 'The Hearth'.
You will be provided with the necessary induction and training, to perform the role well and safely.
Expenses are offered to cover agreed travel costs between home and place of volunteering.
We can offer flexibility around time commitment and duties.

The Hearth Centre (Horsley) Ltd is the charitable company that manages The Hearth Arts Centre and Cafe, with the help of our Centre Co-ordinator and Caretaker. Governing the Centre are voluntary trustees drawn from the local community, who bring a wide range of skills and experience, to support our aim of creating a sustainable and resilient arts venue that supports our tenants, emerging creative talent and enterprise while extending our cultural offer and access to the arts.
The Arts Centre is a unique venue renowned for its extensive range of workshops and classes, talks, live music and performance, film, and community groups. Facilities include 8 artist studios and a popular family-run Café. The community hall is a hireable space that spans two beautiful Grade 2 listed buildings. With over 20,000 visitors each year and a turnover of just under £60,000, it's clear that it holds a special place in the hearts of many.
