WINTER IN BLUE: XMAS CYANOTYPE

Discover the art of Cyanotype.
Join us for a relaxed and creative festive workshop exploring the beautiful art of cyanotype, a magical photographic printing process that creates stunning images in rich Prussian blue using UV rays (sunshine if available).

We will start the session with a brief explanation of the cyanotype process and then continue with some print experimentation.  You will discover how to create your own beautiful cyanotype artwork using a selection of seasonal botanical materials and festive shapes. You’ll have the opportunity to experiment with composition and create a collection of unique pieces to take home, including beautiful Christmas cards and wooden hanging decorations.

No previous experience is needed just come along, enjoy some creative time and discover the joy of making something truly handmade for Christmas. 

You are also encouraged to bring your favourite flowers and leaves from your garden if you wish but I do have plenty to inspire you.
