FORAGING BASKET - 1 DAY WORKSHOP
As the world slowly wakes from its winter rest we will already, begin to see fresh green shoots re emerging from the earth.
This restorative one-day basketry course is a gentle way to feel back into our hands and bodies with the rhythms of nature and we will create a beautiful, rustic foraging basket from scratch in good time to be inspired to begin collecting from the garden and beyond.
Using the basis of frame basketry and working with fresh locally sourced willow you will shape a strong characterful basket.
An opportunity to settle into the moment, reconnect with natural materials and enjoy the simple pleasure of making with your hands.
All tools and materials are provided , so you can simply arrive and enjoy the process.
Refreshments will be available throughout the course and there is an excellent on site café for lunch- or feel free to bring your own.
WHEther your new to basketry or looking for a peaceful creative escape this one day course offers a warm grounding introduction to frame basketry and the joy of creating something both beautiful and useful.
