🌞Calling women of all ages and stages, mamas and non mamas, in need of the truly joyful and loving experience that singing together brings.

If I was you, and thinking about coming along to a Singing Mamas session for the first time, I may be wondering...

Can I bring my baby/child?

Yes.

I don't have a baby, and or my children are all grown up, can I still come?

Singing Mamas is open to ALL women, mums or non mums, grandmas, friends.

What will my baby do whilst I'm singing?

We sit in a circle to sing and the little ones are usually very happy in our arms, or in the middle of the circle on blankets. They like to lie on their backs, have a roll or crawl about, and sometimes they have a wander about the room too.

I've never sung in a choir before, can I still come?

Yes! And we're not a choir, we're a group of women who get together to sing because we love it and it makes us feel good.

I can't read music, can I come?

Yup, I don't give out sheet music or lyric sheets.  We learn everything by ear, and the songs are beautifully simple to remember.

What if I can't come every week?

No problem, that's life.  We're pay as you go, and we sing different songs every week.

How do I book?

Send me a message 07817 305458 / lindseyjoysings@gmail.com

What do we sing?

We're not a baby class and so don't really do nursery rhymes.  The songs are for you but the little ones LOVE hearing your voice and often join in.

Instead we sing Folk, World, Lullabies, Traditional, Pop.   A lot of the songs also contain positive affirmations to ourselves and each other.

Will I be asked to sing a solo?

No, definitely not!  You sing as part of the wider group, and in smaller groups when we do harmony songs.

I'm often running late, is that ok?

Yes, and you're never late, please always come.  The sessions are 90 minutes on purpose; plenty of time to arrive and settle, time to chat, time to sing, time to be yourself.

Can I bring my mum with me, or a friend?

Yes, of course.
