Set in the year 2054, Mickey 17 follows Mickey Barnes, portrayed by Robert Pattinson, who is an "Expendable" worker on a mission to colonize the icy planet Niflheim. The premise revolves around Mickey's ability to be cloned every time he dies, retaining most of his memories. The film delves into the ethical implications of cloning and the dangers faced by expendable workers in a corporate-driven space exploration context.
As Mickey navigates his dangerous tasks, he develops a romantic relationship with security agent Nasha, played by Naomi Ackie. The plot thickens when Mickey discovers that another clone, Mickey 18, has been created, leading to a conflict over their existance...
