Blue Meditation Scroll

This course is all about slow stitching, being able to pick up a project and really be in the flow.

You will be provided with a length of indigo dyed linen which will provide the basis for a daily ( I hope) stitch diary through out the summer where you really stretch the pattern making potential of embroidery stitches. 

Your stitches will fit in to and cross small patches of beautiful hand block printed blue fabrics which I have sourced for you from Merchant and Mills and Cloth House London. You will use these sparingly as the stitching is the main mission but you will be encouraged to not just applique them but also use them for a reverse applique technique. 

You may think you know lots of embroidery stitches but hopefully I will be able to introduce you to a few more and new ways of using them.
