LEARN TO PAINT & DRAW AT THE HEARTH

Learn to paint, draw and enjoy creating your own artwork with an introduction to different materials, techniques and methods. 

We will explore new themes (including landscape, still-life, portraiture) and materials (including watercolour, acrylics and charcoal) on a rolling 2 week basis, providing 'tasters' and tools to get you drawing and painting. 

We will look at observation techniques, capturing perspective, creating depth and contrast, using colour wash and mark making.  

Level: Suitable for beginners and those wishing to redevelop existing or rusty skills. 

Dates: Classes start on Wed afternoons from 16 September 2026. 

Duration: 10 weeks, 2 hours per week.
