Creative Writing

Creative Writing
With Tony Glover

Thursday evenings, 6 - 8pm, starting 10th January 2019

CREATIVE WRITING classes return to The Hearth in January 2019.

Led by award winning writer Tony Glover, this course is for you, whatever your level of experience or ability - all are welcome.

We explore the function of stories and their structure.

We look at ways ideas can be discovered and developed.

Starting with short, descriptive pieces and exercises, we move towards creating finished stories.

Our aim is to develop your own ‘voice’ as a writer. We examine different genres. We look at styles and techniques used by other writers and consider the ways these might be used in our own writing.

Mentoring for your own projects is also available.

Thursday evenings, 6pm - 8pm, starting on the 10th January,  10 weeks at £75.
