Join us for a delightful Yoga and Craft Day – making a wet-felted decorative vessel. We'll begin with some gentle yet energising yoga, releasing tension from the body with soft, flowing movement, then settling into comforting static poses. This will include both Hatha and restorative yoga styles and will be suitable for complete beginners as well as those who already love slow and steady yoga.

The morning will include breathwork and meditation, finishing with a refreshing deep relaxation practice (Yoga Nidra). We’ll enjoy a delicious lunch courtesy of the Hearth café. Then in the afternoon we'll experience the ancient art of wet-felting, with tuition from local teacher Lynne Dean. We'll create a unique decorative wet-felted vessel to take home.

No previous experience of yoga or felt-working required – just a desire to enjoy a feel-good day of creative activity and nourishing yoga in the beautiful venue of the Hall at the Hearth Café. This is the second of two Yoga and Wet-felting Days (the first is on 6th April, when you can make an abstract felt picture). These are stand-alone sessions and are both suitable for beginners, although this second session will allow you to extend your skills by creating 3D felt-work.
