ROUND BASKETRY - 2 DAY WORKSHOP

Join us for a relaxed and creative two-day beginner round basketry course, perfect for anyone eager to explore traditional craft using beautiful, locally grown willow. 

Over the weekend you’ll learn the foundational skills of willow weaving while creating your own round basket to take home. You may find the process naturally slows the mind, and offers a quiet sense of satisfaction that working with your hands can bring. 

There will be opportunity to experiment with different weaving techniques and if you’ve some prior experience this can be expanded upon.

All tools and materials are provided, so you can simply arrive and enjoy the process. Refreshments will be available throughout the course and there is an excellent on-site café fot lunch- or feel free to bring your own.

Whether your completely new to basketry, seeking a peaceful creative escape or just curios to reconnect with natural materials, this course offers a warm, welcoming space to learn, create, connect and unwind.
