John Moreels MBE is owner of the Ward Philipson photographic collection, together with other collections and images. With the support of the Heritage Lottery Fund the collection is being saved and restored by him in Durham. The collection comprises over 150,000 glass plates, negatives and lantern slides, some dating back to the 1700’s due to the images being engravings and etchings, with the photographs dating from 1850’s to 1970’s. Learn more about North East life and this superb historical collection, while viewing plenty of pure nostalgic images of the region.
John will also be displaying and selling prints, postcards and limited signed copies of his NEW BOOK 3, and books 1 and 2 on FLIPBOOK C.D.s produced from some of the images, at special discounted prices.
