The Hearth is a registered Charity and is managed by a Board of voluntary Trustees involved in the governance, sustainability and day to day management of this Community Hub open to all 7 days each week, offering Arts, Music, Heritage and Hospitality and so much more!

Hearth Volunteers: We can only operate thanks to the generosity of our amazing Team of Volunteers. New members to this Team are always welcome. It could be on a regular or ad hoc basis. We welcome assistance at our Music Gigs, History and Heritage Talks, as well as projects such as ‘Free for Young People’ and ‘Helping the Planet’ plus such tasks as gardening, outdoor work, decorating and DIY jobs. If you would like to find out more about volunteering, please email

As a charity The Hearth is constantly seeking sources of income from Hall Hire, various events, grant awards, legacies and donations.  All proceeds raised go towards delivering, maintain and extend the services offered by The Hearth in the future.
