textile artist

Jessica Kinnersley is a local textile artist who creates mixed media pieces using vintage linens, papers and hand embroidery.  She is inspired by the things she finds, which inform the scale and theme of a piece. Lovingly repurposed; her work often features hand-stitched musings and printed images, layered to create nostalgic textile art and collages.

Jessica is currently available to deliver online talks and workshops, exploring a range of textile techniques and themes, using hand embroidery.  Also available are one to one and small group sewing machine sessions via Zoom.  While Jessica continues to develop her own work, she also takes private commissions and sells some of her pieces through local outlets and via Etsy.

Jess's studio is open to visitors when she is in.  Please check the Artists' Opening Times calendar to see her studio days. Visitors are asked to wear face coverings, with no more than 2 visitors in the studio at a time.

Jess's work is also available to buy online,  she offers click-and-collect as well as postal delivery.
