The building is situated in the heart of Horsley, just 10 miles from Newcastle and 10 miles from Hexham in the beautiful Tyne Valley in Northumberland. It is close to Hadrian’s Wall World Heritage Site. The café provides a focus for the community and attracts visitors from many neighbouring towns and villages.



Studio are all based in a converted manse in rural Northumberland. The Artists / Makers are inspired by the rich cultural heritage, landscape and wildlife of the North East of England. A visit to their studios offers a unique opportunity to see them at work and to purchase high quality, accessible artworks, made by experienced professionals. Our talented artists have been featured in national magazines, published books and been awarded public art commissions. They have raised the profile of the arts in the region with their exhibitions and biannual art fairs.
