HIRE OUR HALL FOR YOUR EVENT

The Hearth Hall is currently open and available for bookings.  The Trustees are managing ‘opening up’ after the COVID lockdowns in a careful manner and in line with Government guidance.

In order to support all our hall users, Hall Hire costs have been reduced from the standard rate of £11 per hour to £8 per hour to take into account the restriction of numbers able to attend classes and support the re-building of the small businesses who use the Hearth Hall. Bookings can be made by the hour, and currently we do not charge for setting up or clearing up time around your session. Whilst we have a contract with a brilliant firm of contract cleaners for all general cleaning across the site, we do expect Hall hirers to clean surfaces before and after using the facilities to ensure best COVID practices are in place.

 

The Hearth Hall is suitable for workshops and classes, as well as private functions, the Hall offers an attractive space with free parking, disabled access, tea making facilities and WC, Wi-Fi, (an overhead projector may be available)  There is a newly fitted kitchen/tea area very kindly donated to the Hearth by Karbon Homes in partnership with Magnet Kitchens.

Catering can be provided by the Hearth Café by prior arrangement.

 

The Hearth is pleased to welcome you to make use of our facilities. We want you to feel at home here and to ensure this happens for everyone we need to point out some of our requirements –

Booking; Please contact the Centre Administrator, Ali Wilkes, to check availability. You can email office@thehearth.co.uk.  She will advise on availability etc

Once a booking has been arranged, you will receive a Booking Form together with the Conditions of Booking with Supplementary Conditions (Covid-19) and a copy of our Hall Risk Assessment. You will need to confirm your booking by returning the signed booking form and providing a Risk Assessment for your activity (we have a template which we can send you, that you can base your risk assessment on).

Facilities include use of tables and chairs, a toilet for hall use only, small kitchen.tea making area,  Wi-fi, (digital projector by prior arrangement.)

Currently, we are booking classes with a maximum capacity of 8 students plus one teacher, to enable social distancing. If two or more class members are from the same household or bubble, numbers may be increased at the discretion of, and following discussion with the management.  This limit will be subject to review as guidance changes. 

Catering; Should you require the Hearth Café to provide catering, please contact them directly on hearthcafe@ymail.com or 01661 853 563.  You are welcome to ask your class to bring their own packed lunch and drinks.

Payment; You will be invoiced prior to your booking, and we ask that payment bank transfer be made in advance of your event date.

 

Covid-19 secure; we have put measure in place to ensure that the Hearth Hall is a safe place to hire to run your class or workshop.  Please see our measures here
