A day working with fabulous pre-loved cashmere. We will make and embellish cashmere wristwarmers or a hot water bottle cover and make some hanging decorations, toys or brooches in beautiful tweed and velvet.
No sophisticated sewing skills are required; you will be let loose with Natalie’s collection of threads, wools, buttons, ribbons and trimmings.

Mice are a great subject as you can paint several in a short space of time and have them interact with flowers in different ways. By the end of the workshop you will have painted 2-3 smaller paintings of mice on various flowers and plants.

Join Jina and paint a series of birds with golden backgrounds. By the end of the day you will have 2-3 lovely paintings of garden birds set off by beautiful gilded backgrounds. You will have a choice on which birds you paint including: robin, wren, goldfinch, bluetit, coaltit, long-tailed tit and more. This workshop also enables you to play with gold leaf, its very relaxing and so much fun with just the right amount of sparkle to set your birds off.

Framed Memories Workshop
Saturday 30th April, 10 - 4 pm
Create a personal keepsake using your own precious photograph, which Jessica pre-prints onto fabric prior to the workshop. Using your photo as a central focus, we will build a tactile textile collage to "frame" your image, adding lace and buttons for embellishment. All materials are provided, however, you are welcome to bring along anything that you would like to include in your collage, especially if it has personal meaning and sentiment.
