  • Free parking in the Hearth car park or when full on the main road.

  • Disabled access

  • Accessible toilet

  • Digital projector, and a screen are available on request.

  • Audio, visual equipment

  • Deaf loop system on request

  • Small kitchen area with drink-making facilities, cutlery, crockery and glasses.

  • Plenty of tables and chairs

A 10% discretionary discount on the Hall prices will be made for registered charities & local community groups

Evening (after 6.00pm) and weekend bookings will incur an additional 10% charge

marketing your event

We are able to help with marketing by publishing details on The Hearth website which is free. Please enquire if wishing to promote via our newsletter or social media post.

conditions of hire

The Hearth Centre is pleased to welcome you to use our Hall and will do what we can to ensure your event is a success. We do ask all hall hirers to agree to a set of conditions of use so that our facilities can be safely and fully enjoyed.

availability & booking

Good availability during weekdays, evenings and weekends.  You will be charged only for the duration of your class or event. Time spent setting and clearing up will not be charged.

provisional bookings

Will be accepted in writing or by phone but no agreement exists until a booking form has been received by the Administrator on behalf of The Hearth. The Hearth reserves the right to refuse a booking. The Booking Form contains the Conditions of Use which we ask all hall hirers to agree to.


confirm booking

By returning the signed Booking Form and provide a Risk Assessment for your activity (we have a template that you can base your risk assessment on).


full payment

Must be made upon receipt of an invoice. Payments can be made by card or card payments can be taken over the phone and BACS info will be provided on the invoice.

how we use funds received from hall hire

The Hearth Charity is non-profit making and money received is used to help with running costs and the development of our charitable aims and community activities.
