Visits provides you with an opportunity to meet the artist, learn about their practice and to purchase original artworks, greeting cards and gifts. Working to commission and bespoke services are offered by some. Artist's work can also be purchased from their own websites, details of which can be found within their biographies above.

The Artists & Makers have regular 'Open Studio Days' but sometimes their talents take them elsewhere for exhibitions, commissions or workshops and when this is the case check their availability in the calendar below.

Four resident artists will open their studios 10.30 - 4pm on a Wednesday or Thursday giving you an opportunity to see their studio practice and latest work.

To make you aware there is a limit in some studios of two visitors at any one time due to space limitations.
bi-annual art fairs and in 2022 the 'celebration of textiles' will be held on saturday 6th august from 10am-4pm
Our bi-annual art fairs are well known for the quality and variety of locally made art and craft. The resident artists are joined by a selected group of guest artists and makers from the North East for a wonderful display in the hall, studios and courtyard. With a friendly, welcoming atmosphere, our fairs are a great opportunity to meet the makers, enjoying chatting and discover unique locally made art and craft for your home.
