the charity

THE HEARTH CENTRE (HORSLEY) LTD is the charitable company that manages The Hearth Arts Centre and Cafe.  The centre is managed by a Board of  Voluntary Trustees involved in the governance, sustainability and day to day management of The Hearth alongside the support of loyal volunteers.

trustees & stakeholders

Policy, operational and organisational decisions are made collectively by the Board of Trustees and minuted in the records of the Trustees’ monthly meetings. The Hearth’s tenants, employees, volunteers, visitors, and Horsley Village Church members are consulted as and when appropriate.

income generation

Income is raised from studio, cafe rentals, hall hire and special events.  Funding is secured from grant awards, legacies and donations and all proceeds raised go towards delivering, maintaining and extending the services offered by The Hearth.

We have established an enviable track record of engaging with the local and wider community, providing opportunities for engagement and participation in the arts, culture, heritage, health and wellbeing through regular workshops, special events,  fairs, heritage talks, music, and much more.
