Give a Christmas gift with a twist this year. Come along and learn how to paint your own ink and watercolour robin which will make the perfect present. Alternatively you can always keep it yourself! This workshop is a great way to get yourself in the festive spirit and celebrate one of Britains best garden birds.

CASHMERE, VELVET AND TWEED with Natalie Henderson, of Vintage Luxe

Saturday 20th January, 10am - 4pm

Natalie has a huge stash of gorgeous fabrics and trimmings and will help you make at least two finished items in cashmere, wool, velvet, tweed, vintage needlepoint, leather, silk...

Choose from cashmere wrist warmers, a contemporary ‘faux fox fur’, tweed corsages, jewellery...

The day costs £45 which includes all materials, lunch and afternoon cake.

Come and enjoy a day of weaving on a 4 shaft table loom. Whether you're a beginner or already a weaver, this will be a lovely opportunity to experiment with colour and texture.

WILD AND WISE - re-connecting with our wild and wise selves with Margaret Bird

Growing up as girls we may have been unable to express our connection with our wild nature - for many reasons. Making our way in the world as women we may still find ourselves detached somehow from our deeper wild wisdom

This one-day personal development workshop for women offers a chance to meet with and listen to our inner wise and wild selves in a safe, supportive setting. There will be opportunities to use creative ways of working to assist us in this process. Workshop facilitator - Margaret Bird  (UKCP reg Psychodrama Psychotherapist)

The Hearth Wool Group

Second and Fourth Tuesday of the Month, 1.15 - 3.15pm

Whatever your woolly interest (knitting, spinning, weaving, crochet, sheep, feltmaking) or level of skill, bring along some of your own work and spend a couple of hours with like-minded people to chat, skill-share, network.  This is a drop-in session, not a formal class or course. 

The Hearth Wool Group will meet in the Hearth's hall on the SECOND and FOURTH Tuesday of each month, 1.15pm - 3.15pm.  Please come along - we'd love to see you.  There will be a £3.50 charge towards hall hire and refreshments.

Singing Babies & Squeaky Feet

Singing Babies & Squeaky Feet with live music, songs and a variety of instruments. Sessions stimulate and engage young babies and children. Parents, grandparents & child minders can all enjoy the chance to take part, and afterwards socialise over fresh coffee and carrot cake.

Singing Babies is designed for babies in their first years, whilst Squeaky Feet focuses on the confident walkers.
