HOWAY THE HIGLAND COOS! with Jina Gelder

Friday October 27, 10.30am -4pm

Come along and learn how to paint these magnificent beasts using ink and watercolours. During the course of the day you will learn some new techniques for using these mediums and develop a highland cattle painting with character and life. By the end of the lesson your coo should look windswept and as though they've stepped right out the wilds of Scotland. 

Participants can either bring a packed lunch or order food from the cafe. £40 including materials, suitable for all abilities. To book visit Jina's website here

 

 CHRISTMAS CRAFTS with Northumberland College 

Saturday 4th November, 1.30pm - 4pm 

Baubles and Decoration,  and Cards. Spend an afternoon making crafts for Christmas using fabric, ribbons and paper.  Suitable for all levels, all materials included.  Book here

 

CHRISTMAS ROBINS With Jina Gelder

2 dates available -  21st  November and 9th December, 2 – 4.30pm

Give a Christmas gift with a twist this year. Come along and learn how to paint your own ink and watercolour robin which will make the perfect present. Alternatively you can always keep it yourself! This workshop is a great way to get yourself in the festive spirit and celebrate one of Britains best garden birds.

£25, open to all abilities, includes materials, tea, coffee and homemade minced pies. ​Book here

The Hearth Wool Group

Second and Fourth Tuesday of the Month, 1.15 - 3.15pm

Whatever your woolly interest (knitting, spinning, weaving, crochet, sheep, feltmaking) or level of skill, bring along some of your own work and spend a couple of hours with like-minded people to chat, skill-share, network.  This is a drop-in session, not a formal class or course. 

The Hearth Wool Group will meet in the Hearth's hall on the SECOND and FOURTH Tuesday of each month, 1.15pm - 3.15pm.  Please come along - we'd love to see you.  There will be a £3.50 charge towards hall hire and refreshments.

Iyengar Yoga classes

Singing Babies & Squeaky Feet

Singing Babies & Squeaky Feet with live music, songs and a variety of instruments. Sessions stimulate and engage young babies and children. Parents, grandparents & child minders can all enjoy the chance to take part, and afterwards socialise over fresh coffee and carrot cake.

Singing Babies is designed for babies in their first years, whilst Squeaky Feet focuses on the confident walkers.
