The Hearth Coffee Shop

Open every day, our coffee shop serves a wide variety of drinks, cakes and snacks, as well as offering light lunches. The cosy two ground floor rooms with original features such as the recently rediscovered inglenook fireplace are decorated with works by our in house artists, available to purchase.

The Hearth tea rooms ooze the homely warm welcome for which owners Anne and Lynne have become famous, and the homemade soups, fresh scones and daily specials have become their trademark. Anne's irresistible puddings and Lynne's cheery chitchat have earned them a well deserved reputation throughout the Northeast.
